Qubit perspective

Colleagues reviewing business processes as a company prepares for a more capable ERP system.

Look for seven recurring signals

Teams re-key the same information; reporting lives outside the system; approval rules depend on email; stock or job status is hard to reconcile; integrations repeatedly fail; routine changes need disproportionate effort; and users avoid the system to get work done.

Separate platform limitations from process problems

Record examples, owners and the operational impact. Poor configuration, inconsistent definitions or training gaps may be repairable without replacing the ERP.

Make a requirements-led decision

Prioritise the workflows that matter, document reporting and integration needs, and compare improvement of the current setup with replacement. An ERP & CRM readiness assessment gives that decision a clearer basis.
